Vermont Wedding: Carly + Ben

I love seeing what brides in other states are up to. Sometimes they have added regional touches, fun decor ideas, and things that I would have never thought of. It is always fun exploring photos from weddings all over the U.S and gathering up great inspiration. This Vermont inspired wedding was submitted by Kingdom Wedding Photography and I love it! Some of the great details I enjoyed were the beautiful ribbons on the swing, the gorgeous peacock feather elements, and the chocolate bombs instead of the traditional wedding cake.

Words from the photographer: Carly put this wedding together in under 4 months. She is THE poster child for remaining calm, fun and relaxed under pressure. Upon coming back from hair & make-up, it was decided that Carly (who is naturally gorgeous and hardly ever wears make-up) didn’t look like herself and felt uncomfortable. With only 15 minutes to spare until the beginning of the ceremony, she stuck her head into the sink and washed her face. Her sister then applied a more natural looking make-up, the girls put on their dress and seeing Carly’s mom’s face when she first saw her daughter in her dress was priceless. She was positively beaming with pride & joy. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and so were the portraits afterwards. The reception was again fun & full of love … with loving toasts to honor Carly’s deceased dad, a pastry feeding and plenty of dancing. In all honesty, I don’t know how they put it together but it was an amazing day.
