I wanted to create something fun and glittery! Plus I wanted to satisfy my DIY urge. We all love making beautiful things and with the vast majority of DIY brides out there, I thought this would be a simple and great project! So I made these fun jeweled toasting glasses with some glittery paint.
- Champagne Flutes
- Glittery Paint (Recommend Martha Stewart)
- Some type of brush, recommend the spongy brushes or even makeup sponge applicators
- Masking Tape
- A paper plate for the paint.
Next use the masking tape to make any straight lines where you do not want to pain above or below, depending on the look and pattern you are going for.
Then taking the brush and paint, apply the paint to surface of the glass. Let paint dry between applications and apply as many coats until desired color is reached.
Once paint has dried, add your favorite champagne and enjoy the beautiful, sparkling colors. These would make great wedding decor for all your guests!
Here a few more creations found on the Martha Stewart craft site. How adorable are these? I’m a fan of the monogram glass. How about you? Keep in mind that this paint will not be dishwasher safe. Hand wash glasses only once paint has fully dried.
