I love coming across new and fun ideas to honor past loved ones at your wedding. Take a look at this adorable idea I found on Mr. and Ms. Adams. This couple decided to dedicate a chair at their ceremony to a loved one. The photo along with a sign with their names is the perfect touch! Do you plan on honoring loved ones during your big day? If so, we would love to hear how!

Thanks so much for the shout out. This by far is one of my favorite details from the wedding. There’s a clip in our wedding video of my grandmother seeing the chair for the first time (It’s her mother and father’s wedding picture). As soon as she saw it, she burst into tears. We had just lost my great grandmother a few months earlier so it was bittersweet way for us to visually have her there.
I love the idea! I am a big family person and love details like this. For my wedding, my husband and I had wedding photos from both parents and all four sets of grandparents on a table. Such a cute display!
This just made my day. I just lost my 18 year old sister exactly two months before my wedding date. This is the perfect way to honor her memory and have her present on our special day!
I’m glad you found it too and will be able to use it for your wedding day. It is a sweet way to honor loved ones.
