Placerville, California Wedding: Tiffany + Brett

I could go on and on about all the fun details from this gorgeous Placerville, California wedding captured by Emily Heizer Photography. I love that so many real emotion and life moments were captured. My favorite story was of the ring bearer walking down the aisle with his “Uncle Brett Here Comes Your Girl” sign. About 10 steps down the aisle he looked around to see everyone staring at him and chucked the sign to the ground with such force that it bounced. The guests got a good chuckle as the flower girl picked up the sign and continued. You may also be wondering about the story behind the cardboard cutout. A close military friend could not be at the wedding, so a cardboard cutout was made of him and placed at the top of the aisle so it was the first thing Brett saw when he ascended the aisle. Talk about a touching moment!

From the bride: Brett and I wanted to create a day so we could celebrate with friends and family. We wanted to include as many homemade touches as possible and with the help of my creative Aunt and Uncle our dream became a reality. There are so many special memories from our wedding day, but most important was the feeling of love, laughter and excitement. Some of the unique elements included in the day were our table numbers: we chose to have a book that guests would write a message for us to read on our anniversary for the corresponding year. I remember the feeling I had as my dad walked me down the aisle. I felt like I was floating on air as I walked towards Brett to start our grand adventure together. We were lucky enough to be married by a good friend, surrounded by our loved ones, and danced and celebrated the night away like we had always wanted. Everything about our wedding was better than we could have imagined. The entire day was filled with so much love, laughter and happiness. Being able to celebrate our love and commitment with our closest friends and family is something Brett and I will cherish forever. We are thrilled to start this journey together and feel so grateful for all of life’s amazing blessings.
