I must admit, I am pretty obsessed with this intimate Sacramento wedding. I absolutely love the bride’s dress! It is perfect for the venue and completely swoon worthy. The yellow and grey color scheme is displayed amazingly with all the great DIY touches the bride and her family created. Thank you to our vendor Lovely You Photography for these photos!
From the bride: The one moment from my wedding that really sticks out was during dinner. I looked around at all of the people we love and care about sharing a fabulous family style meal, talking, laughing, and enjoying the food and it brought me an immense amount of joy. I tried to incorporate many personal handmade touches in my wedding. My grandmother helped me sew my table runners, my mother in law wrote out my place cards by hand, and my sister and I went to the San Francisco flower mart at 3am a couple of days before the wedding to select all of the flowers. So in short, when I looked around at the decor all of the elements had a special meaning to me. My recommendation to all future brides is to make your wedding exactly the way you want it and do not settle for less. I had a very clear vision for my wedding from the start. I knew I wanted it to be non-traditional. I opted for a dessert buffet instead of a wedding cake, a short dress instead of a long one, and short and sweet ceremony performed by one of my best friends. It may not have fit with what many people consider to be a typical wedding, but to me it was absolutely perfect!
